Statement of Economic Interest

You are required to file a Statement of Economic Interest if you are an elected official or appointed official or local government employee that does any of the following:

• Authorizes the expenditure of public funds
• Executes contracts
• Issues licenses and permits

If you are a candidate seeking public office, you must file a current Statement of Economic Interests with the County Clerk in the same year you file a candidate petition, and you must attach a receipt for such filing with your petition.

Statements of Economic Interest filed by officials are open to the public and may be reviewed at our office.
